It goes without saying that this artwork was inspired by one of my favourite films of all time, Arrival – directed by Denis Villeneuve. The purpose of this project was to really focus on showcasing scale and developing composition skills. I’ve gone through multiple iterations to achieve that, using invaluable feedback from friends and peers alike. In the end, I believe I achieved what I set out to do; to make this alien spaceship look inexplicably massive compared to its surroundings.
