This artwork was inspired by Josh Power’s version he did for Quixel. I have spent a lot of time looking at and appreciating his dedication to detail, and this inevitably ended up inspiring me to take on my own version of this project using Unreal Engine 4. I see this as an exploration into how much detail and organised chaos goes into creating something photoreal in a real-time software. Another focus of mine was lighting, composition and focal length choice. After all, there’s only so much you can do to make a bunch of rocks and concrete look interesting!
